Life can be difficult. Sometimes we get stuck in a cycle, trapped in overwhelming thoughts, unsure of what steps to take next. Pain in the past, challenging situations of today, relationship confusion, all make it feel like we have nowhere to go from here. With anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, chronic health issues your experience is valid, important and worth telling. You are not alone!
In the storm that you are going through, it can feel like there is no way out, but with talk therapy, you will get a chance to look at what you are experiencing with someone. Building a relationship and telling someone your fears is so difficult, but when you develop that trust and rapport with someone and feel like you are supported, it is manageable, one step at a time. Throughout our sessions, you will have an opportunity to look back and see all of the progress you have made, and be so proud of yourself, where you have come and what hope you have for the future.
My name is Theresa Ewing, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been working with individuals since 2011 establish goals and work toward hope for a better future. My priority is your wellness and future and I will go above and beyond to fight with you, and to resolve those issues that are troubling you. I am so excited to get started with you! I know it can be a lot to think of starting a new relationship with someone, sharing vulnerable details in order to seek help. Getting started together...
Prior to our meeting, you will get an invitation to my practice software that leads you through some basic intake forms
I can check insurance to verify for you, before we meet!
We will conduct an intake assessment and get to know one another. (I will lead the way!)
Next, we establish your goals and talk about ways to get there.

It's important to remember, YOU are in the driver seat!
As we meet and go along I will recommend certain things to work on in between sessions and we will review in order to make the most of our time together and keep that momentum going in between sessions.
